The term “By-Laws” is commonly used to identify all the legal documents governing the Bannister Lakes Homeowners Association. There are five sections; each section has specific applications. The ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION and the BY-LAWS (first bullet) are registered in Lansing Michigan and define the purpose and operating instructions for the Association. The BUILDING RESTRICTIONS, USE RESTRICTIONS and AUXILIARY CONSTRUCTION RESTRICTIONS (second bullet) are registered in Macomb County and provide specific criteria for maintaining the long-term viability of the Association. All new members to the Association receive a set at their closing or as part of the Welcome Package after they move in.
